Candraft was founded in 1979 by John Cooper. Candraft is a member in good standing of the National Institute of Steel Detailers (NISD). Candraft meets the requirements of the Quality Procedures Program of the NISD.

Our production staff have over 600 years combined experience with Candraft alone, and are experienced in all aspects of the Steel fabrication market, including all types of steel bridges, commercial structures, public works structures, complex steel structures, hi-rise buildings, convention centers & casinos, hospitals & medical centers, stadiums, material handling, power plants and refinery projects. Candraft is a fully digital environment utilizing Tekla Structures. Candraft has been a Tekla user since 1997 and is currently using version 18
