4 New Businesses Opening In DT New West
One's Now Open, Another Shortly, Two Others To Come
So...December just got busier
After seven new businesses opened their doors back in October, we couldn't believe it when we saw four new neighbours open up shop in our community.
1) Pho Pho You - now open
It's finally here. We recently went there for lunch and only a week after opening they are packed! Soups are fresh and the bowls are big, so be sure to mark this as one of your winter go-tos.
Service is also stellar - fast and friendly

2) Hive City - opens Friday, Dec 9th
This organization is incredible. Hive City designs and makes sustainable cardboard products, while at the same time serve delicious treats and coffee. Hard to understand? Take a look at some of their items!

Neat huh? So the Front Street shop is part design space part cafe & hang out. Find them at 613 Front St or online on their website

3) Piva Modern Italian - early next spring
This restaurant and lounge will soon occupy the space at the Anvil Centre and according to The Record, will be "serving up a rustic/modern vibe and cuisine."

On the menu: pasta, wood-fired pizza and properly prepared steaks.
Price point: expect "closer to high end" without the pretentiousness.

4) Columbia Street Eats - opening January
You know your favourite Columbia Street Sandwich Company? Turns out they're opening up a second location! They'll be taking over the old Fuel space, next to Hot Yoga at 428 Columbia Street.
Rumours are swirling over their new name. We've heard 'Columbia Street Eats'...
You'll be able to pick up baked goods, soup, coffee, etc.
